Believe What You Want, As Long As You Believe Obama

December 18, 2008 at 10:54 pm (Obama, Politics) (, , )

What happened to my Obama channel? I want it back. These daily updates from the Office of the President Elect are simply not enough. There needs to be someone with a camera on him at all times. I want him mic’d and live every second of every day. And follow Michelle and the Obamettes around too! They should all be on television all the time!

Why should we have television shows not dedicated to our great leader? He’s intelligent, I mean, why would he seal his college transcripts if not for our own protection? He’s so kind; he didn’t want us to feel inadequate.

He’s a wonderful speaker; the “um”s and “uh”s are his way of letting us all know that he’s one of us. And he just doesn’t want to answer the tough questions because he doesn’t want us to worry our little heads about “important” issues like pay for play scandals.

There’s no way he was involved in that! Why would he want to sell his seat? I’m sure he’s got enough money! I mean, look at the millions of dollars he raised during his campaign! Nevermind where it all came from, those election laws are stupid anyway. And what’s wrong with selling it anyway? I don’t see a problem with it. This country was built on the free market. Just ignore that Congress is tearing it apart, piece by piece.

That’s what we should do! Give Obama his own unreality show and put it on every channel and just ignore the parts that aren’t all sunshine and daisies. Better yet! Just edit them out! All I’m saying is this: we have the technology. Make it happen.

Considering I’m an avid follower of yours on twitter I was pretty sure I’d love your blog and you don’t disappoint.

I have to admit though… I’m not unhappy that O won although I thought I would be. He’s poking his thumb in the Progressive’s eye (I don’t mind Liberals when they are actually liberals. But I can’t stand progressives – they are just fascists with a pretty sounding name). It’s b/c if McCain was president, the opposite would be happening. He’d be doing contortions to prove to the media and hollywood that he’s not ‘one of those’ Republicans and he’d be embracing every insane progressive idea coming down the pike. He takes particular joy in sticking it to conservatives evidenced by how his staff treated his running mate. He tried to lay low when that was happening but he’d never remain quiet if a Democrat was getting treated the same way. THen when he finally did talk, he wasn’t man enough to throw a jab or roundhouse, but didn’t miss a chance to throw a suckerpunch at her.

It’s really scarry to think that Obama is likely to end up being more conservative than McCain but I honestly think that’s a real possibility. Pelosi and Reid still scare the hell out of me, but then again other than a few of our guys like DeMint, so do a lot of our folks. I mean, when things are so bad we’re runniing for our lives to re-elect Chambliss, something is very wrong with our party.

In the meantime though, please keep up the ridicule – Obama is going to provide a lot of material for mockery – anyone in that spot will but he’ll do it particularly well, and I”m sure your ridicule will continue to be first rate ;-)

I was never a big McCain supporter. I was decidedly less than thrilled with the nomination because I saw it as a cop out and an attempt to get votes from the “independents” and “undecideds” and I knew it would send a lot of the conservative base running to a third party. I still feel that way. I’m glad to see some net roots groups getting together and pushing for a reformation in the GOP. Thus far, Obama hasn’t done anything except get on my television about twenty-six times a day, so I’m withholding my judgment. I respect the office, I don’t respect the man. And I will make fun of him. And his goofy ears.

Capitalism isn’t capitalism until you can sell a senate seat!

I’ll support your idea if you support mine. BidenCam. JoeBiden24/7. He’s supposedely an excellent law professor so why shouldn’t we get to share some of his wisdom, you know, like the type he imparted to Cheney about Unitary Executives. His command of world events is pretty amazing too, just ask anyone in Israel ;-) This way, Obama can cater to the common man while JoeB can cater to those of us seeking a little more uhhh- intellectual stimulation.

Or! Better yet, let’s pull a Truman, put him on a massive t.v. set, and just make him THINK he’s running the nation for the next four years!
